Annual Events:

Nexus Youth Services and Peel Children’s Centre hold our joint Annual General Meeting in June. In addition to the business of the meeting, Peel Children’s Centre presents our prestigious Mary Neville Award to an individual who has made valuable contributions to children’s mental health in the areas of prevention and early intervention. A call for nominations for the Mary Neville Award occurs annually in the spring.

Peel Children’s Centre holds two annual events to raise funds in support of our range of high-quality mental health services for children, youth and their families. Nexus Youth Services and Peel Children’s Centre hold an annual Celebration Day in the fall to recognize long-term staff service, present the Ron Lenyk Volunteer of the Year Award, and raise funds for the United Way of Peel Region. More information about this event will be available in late summer 2013.
