WHY:
The Fair Share for Peel Task Force, its member agencies, and local and regional governments have been working tirelessly to secure equitable funding in the Region of Peel for social and community services.

 

The Province of Ontario has allocated 11.5% of its new funding for child and youth mental health and addiction services to Peel Region, which is home to 11.5% of Ontario’s children and youth. This is a fair allocation worth celebrating!

 

The Fair Share for Peel Task Force and Peel’s child and youth mental health agencies are hosting this reception to thank the Ontario government for acknowledging the role that population plays in determining need, and for working with us to ensure equitable access to funding across all sectors.
