Annual Events:
Nexus Youth Services and Peel Children’s Centre hold our joint Annual General Meeting in June. In addition to the business of the meeting, Peel Children’s Centre presents our prestigious Mary Neville Award to an individual who has made valuable contributions to children’s mental health in the areas of prevention and early intervention.
Peel Children’s Centre holds two annual events to raise funds in support of our range of high-quality mental health services for children, youth and their families. Please visit the pages for Cosmic Bowl and the Holiday Brunch and Auction to learn about the many ways you can support these successful events as part of our Caring Community Working Together for Children.
Nexus Youth Services and Peel Children’s Centre hold an annual Celebration Day in the fall to recognize long-term staff service, present the Ron Lenyk Volunteer of the Year Award, and raise funds for the United Way of Peel Region. More information about this event, scheduled for Wednesday, October 13, 2010, will be available in summer 2010.
