Celebrating 25 years serving children, youth and their families

PCC and NYS celebrate our 25th anniversaries in 2010/11. Much has changed since we opened our doors 25 years ago, when Peel Region’s population was just half of what it is today. More

Nexus Youth Centre Relocates to City of Mississauga Central Library

MISSISSAUGA, November 25, 2009 - Today, City Council approved a recommendation to enter into a licence agreement with Nexus Youth Services to relocate the youth centre, currently located at Square One, to the second floor of Central Library effective December 14, 2009. More

September 9, 2009 is International Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Awareness Day when people around the world shine a spotlight on this devastating disorder that affects 1 in 100 babies.

Children in Peel with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder to receive coordinated community support thanks to Ontario Trillium Foundation grant

The Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) is giving $225,000 over three years to enhance the coordinated provision of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) services in Peel that increase the early identification, intervention and treatment of children between 0 and 6 years of age affected by this disorder.
