In our drop-in activities, we offer a variety of activities, for example,
- social recreation in a safe environment,
- computer/Internet access,
- a job board,
- informal counselling, and
- information about and referral to community resources and services.
In formal programming, we offer a variety of groups for youth who prefer alternative or non-traditional methods of support. These are some of the topics we cover in these groups:
- social competency and peer support,
- cultural adjustment and mediation,
- social issues or current events, and
- skill development and education.
In our youth volunteerism program, we focus specifically on developing the leadership skills of these youth while providing them with opportunities to earn community service hours and gain valuable work experience.
