Since 1984, Nexus Youth Services has offered counselling services to teenagers and young adults like you, ages 12 to 24, who live in the Region of Peel in Ontario, Canada. This region includes the City of Mississauga, the City of Brampton and the Town of Caledon.
Nexus Youth Services is a not-for-profit community organization and a charity.
Our Mission
Nexus Youth Services creates opportunities for youth by providing high quality services that are inclusive and responsive to the needs and voices of youth.
Our services are free and private. If you are age 12 or older, you do not require your parent’s permission to use our services.
Finding out about Nexus Youth Services is easy. To get all the information you need, call Centralized Intake Services at 905-451-4655.
Workers will answer your call between 9:00 in the morning and 4:30 in the afternoon, Monday to Friday. After 4:30 or on weekends, you can leave a message and we will call you back the next working day.
If you are age 16 or younger, either you or your parent/caregiver can call Centralized Intake Services. If you are over age 16, you must make the call yourself to complete the intake process.
When you call, a worker will ask you a few questions to decide which service or program is best for you. Usually we will make an appointment for you with 1 of these 4 services:
- Associated Youth Services of Peel,
- Nexus Youth Services,
- Peel Children’s Centre, or
- Trillium Health Centre – Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.
If none of these services is the best one to help you, our staff will tell you about other services that can.
Please choose a service from the Services Menu on the right to find out more.
