Centralized Intake ServicesOur Centralized Intake Services provides a single point of access to a wide range of mental health programs and services at four organizations:
- Associated Youth Services of Peel,
- Nexus Youth Services,
- Peel Children’s Centre, and
- Trillium Health Centre – Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.
Who is eligible for these services?
We offer services for children and youth under 25 years of age and their families
- who are dealing with mental health challenges, and
- who live in the Region of Peel, south Etobicoke, or Dufferin County.
What do we do?
During the referral call, a qualified intake worker
- assesses the child’s or youth's eligibility for service,
- schedules a telephone intake appointment,
- collects information about the child’s or youth's social, emotional, and/or behavioural difficulties,
- determines the appropriate service for the child or youth, and
- gives the information gathered to the identified service provider.
Centralized Intake Services provides a seamless referral process to facilitate quality mental health services for children and youth by minimizing service gaps and duplication.
