If your child, teenager or young adult has a mental health problem, our Centralized Intake Services can find a program that can help.
Can you use our services?
To be able to use these service
- your child or youth must be under 24 years of age,
- your child, teenager or young adult must need help for a problems, and
- your child, teenager or young adult must live in the Region of Peel or, for some services, in Dufferin County or in south Etobicoke.
Parents, teenagers or young adults can call us directly. Other services that help you such as schools, doctors, and community services can also call us.
What do we do?
When you call us, we will ask you some questions to decide which service or program is best meet your needs. For example, we may ask about your child’s age and mental health problems.
Then we will make an appointment with 1 of these 4 service providers that will help you or your child/teenager:
- Associated Youth Services of Peel,
- Nexus Youth Services,
- Peel Children’s Centre, or
- Trillium Health Centre—Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.
