Connect Program
Does your child have serious mental health problems? Are you having a difficult time dealing with your child’s problems? Our Connect Program can help.

We use fun activities and counselling to help your child build better relationships with family, schoolmates, and community.

Can your child take part in our program?
If your child is 7 to 15 years old, he or she can take part in our program

if your child is about to lose his or her place at home or school,
if your child has serious problems controlling his or her feelings and behaviour with others, and
if your child has a social worker from Peel Children’s Aid Society.

What will your child do in our program?
In our Connect Program, your child can take part in these 3 activities.

You and your child can take part in the parent and child group. In this fun group, you and your child will learn how to reduce stress and build better relationships. This group meets 1 night a week.
Your child may have counselling if he or she needs it. Usually, we do this at your child’s school.
Your child can do fun things in our after-school program 3 days a week. For example, your child can take part in a group activity, or he or she can go on fun outings with others.

ask your social worker from Peel Children’s Aid Society to call our Centralized Intake Services at 905-451-4655, or
talk to your mental health worker at Peel Children’s Centre.
