Our Mental Health and Addictions Program works with other services that help children and teenagers who have both a mental health problem and a problem with using drugs or alcohol.Who is eligible to use this program?
This program helps workers from schools, hospitals, and community services that serve children and teenagers who live in the Region Peel.
What do we do?
We train workers who help children and teenagers. We share our knowledge and research about the best ways to help children and teenagers who have both a mental health problem and a problem with using drugs or alcohol.
We also help workers create plans for a child’s or a teenager’s treatment. We do this to make sure that children and teenagers get the best possible care.

Schools, hospitals, and community services that work with children and teenagers can call 905-795-3500 and ask for the Clinical Coordinator for Concurrent Disorders.
